‘Aquaman’ opening deferred two months till December

'Aquaman' is set to open in movie theaters later than the date originally set for debut.

Official release date for Malaysian-born Australian director James Wan’s ‘Aquaman’ has been deferred to a December 2018 slot, media says.

The screening schedule for new DC/Warner Bros. film has changed from October 5, 2018 to December 21, 2018.

The film is about characters appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.

While the film is not set to begin filming until May 22, the reshuffled release date for the movie is still unknown, a report said.

Director James Wan is at the helm and Nicole Kidman Patrick Wilson and Amber Heard star in the movie.

A released synopsis for the movie follows Aquaman is the King of the Seven Seas. This reluctant ruler of Atlantis, caught between a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt, is committed to protecting the entire globe.
